Groups
Every church has many different groups and kinds of groups where individuals within those groups interact with each other. There is no limit to the number of groups a church can have and manage in the CCB system. Staff, Elder Boards, age specific groups like High School and Junior High, affinity groups like Singles, Bible Study, Neighborhood, Sunday School classes, the list is endless and can be gleaned from the individual directory and interact in a variety of ways. These groups can be public or private, they can be by invitation only or open to all. They can have their own home page, calendar, articles and discussion board. The leader of any of these groups can administrate, communicate easily via letters and email, moderate discussion boards and a number of other functions.

Why Groups Are Important?
The key to church health is community. The key to community is the building of relationships. The key to the building of relationships is sharing information and providing the opportunity for connection. When a church is able to easily list and communicate the opportunities for people to get involved in their church the better community is promoted. People want to find community and belong in the local church, and the CCB Group application helps make this easier.
