Saved Searches and Reports

Getting the information you need quickly – that’s a continuous need in a growing church. Queries and Reports allow for more powerful searching of your data and let you find and share important information with ease.
Of course query searches aren’t of any value unless you can use the results –and we’ve made that easy for you. The choices are right on the queries list screen. Send an email, print labels, add people to a group or process step…use the data immediately, easily, and continually.

The results of the Saved Query are dynamic, which means that whenever you run the query, at that exact point in time, whoever is in your database and meets the criteria of the query will be added to the results. So you can always be sure the newest individuals in your database are included.

Easy Administration
Queries are integrated with the individual database fields and are set up in a user friendly format. You can see the results of a query immediately and quickly make changes if the results are not what you expected.

Full Customization
You can use simple queries or design complex queries using any number of variables, including your own user defined fields.

Privacy
A complex query engine allows only those with Full Individual Admin privileges to create searches through queries and to create custom reports.

Easy Access of Results
Quickly find people and put them into a group for administration by age, marital status, geographical location, talent, giftedness and a lot more. Several options are available right on the screen so you can easily and practically use the results of your search in your ministry.

Responsibility Sharing
The results of a query can be easily used by a group leader without him having to know how to create queries. The query can be attached to his group home page to allow him to easily update his group list. For example, the leader of the Men’s Ministry uses a query which shows all the men who have joined the congregation this quarter. He quickly adds them to his men’s group so that they can begin receiving emails and information about events for men.

Custom Reports
It’s easy to design a report based on any query. You can choose whether the report lists by individuals or families, and you select the fields you want listed on the report.

Use Case

New Freedom Church has a wonderful opportunity to purchase more land for their fast-growing congregation. But in order to complete the financial forms, they have to fill in statistics about their church such as number of new members, age ranges of members, and total of adult members. Bob Barnes, the Executive Minister, quickly uses Queries to get all the information they need. He realizes the information is so helpful that he creates a Custom Report for the Ministry Staff and Leadership Board so they can more easily evaluate their growth stats each month.

  • Find people with similar data, such as members who have been married 40 years, guests living in a particular zip code, new babies for a dedication service, women who like crocheting…if the data is in the fields, you can easily search for it.
