Is CCB secure?
Security is job one when offering a web-based church software solution for any organization's information tracking needs. CCB is not only easy to use, it's safe and secure. Learn Why
Why do I need CCB?
It is the mission of the church to expand the Kingdom of God, disciple its members and extend its community. CCB collects, stores and directs information to help people get involved in the life and mission of your local church.
Can our church afford CCB?
CCB is the key to unlocking the growth potential of your church. When one tithing family is enfolded into your church community as a result of CCB, the application more than pays for itself. What's more, compared to other packages, there are no hidden costs or maintenance headaches. Unlike using CCB, using a software based program involves purchasing and maintaining a server computer, purchasing software for each computer using the software, buying upgrades to the software (for each computer) as well as the costly purchase of a service contract. It may very well be more costly for your church NOT to use CCB.
How much are upgrades?
There is no cost for upgrades. CCB is a web-based service (not software). The application is continually improving and being upgraded. So, as new features are added, you will automatically get them!
Do I need special equipment or software?
Because CCB is a web-based service (not software), all you need is a web browser on your Mac or PC computers. A high speed connection to the internet is highly recommended for your church offices—but is not required.
How Many Users Can Access CCB At The Same Time?
There is no limit on the number of users who can use CCB at any one time.
What is the application?
CCB is a web-based system designed from the ground up to help your church connect with your community. It is a challenging task these days to stay well connected with the members of your church and with those you are trying to reach outside of your church.
There are many tools needed today to keep a church functioning well:
- A church management system to keep accurate records and create reports
- Website services to attract outside members and keep people informed on the life of your church
- Mailing lists and emails to keep people connected
- Software to help you create flyers and letters
We have taken all of these elements, plus many more, and put them into an all-in-one package that makes your job much easier and helps you be far more effective in fulfilling "The Great Commission".
Why is "web-based" so important?
While many church management systems are excellent at keeping track of your church's vital information, a problem is created when information can only flow in one direction like in the case of software based systems. It is up to staff members and office volunteers to know all the activities of the church, and then to communicate those to the church and community. We have taken church management to a new level. CCB is different in that every member of your church can interactively join groups, register for events, express interest in service opportunities, communicate with other members of the church, view their own personalized church event calendars, and much more.
You will no longer have out of date email addresses, phone numbers, or mailing addresses, as CCB allows each member to log in and make the changes themselves, saving your administrators precious time for other tasks.
What's the difference between an internet and an intranet?
Your public website, like http://www.cornerstonenh.org, is your site that the public sees. It contains the basic information about your church like location, service times, contact details, mission and vision statements, etc. Anybody can access the information required to make a decision about whether to attend your church or not.
Your private intranet is also technically a "website" but you can only access it if you belong "to the club". It contains all the relationship building information that connects your members with your church and with each other. Very often, the main reason why people stay at a church is that they've found how they fit and where they belong. CCB not only offers an extensive system for your church to keep track of members and visitors, but a way to get connected into the life of your church, as well.
The member connection area on the website is the heart of CCB. Once an administrator provides a login and password for a church member, that member can securely sign in and begin joining groups, signing up for events and communicating with others. This helps the member to become fully integrated into the church.
