Training is training is training, right?
Unfortunately, it’s not that simple. But it certainly doesn’t have to be difficult either.
At Church Community Builder, our journey will always be about trying to provide insight that helps you, as church leaders, be more effective. We are so much more than a software company! God has blessed us with a lot of amazing people who have experience in church leadership and a tremendous heart for the local church (and church leaders like you!). This blog is inviting you into the conversations we have on a daily basis. We want to hear your voice as you lead from the frontlines of Kingdom work!
Training is training is training, right?
Unfortunately, it’s not that simple. But it certainly doesn’t have to be difficult either.
In his follow-up to ‘Your Volunteers: Recruit,’ Chris Mavity’s ‘Your Volunteers: Train’ explains that once you have recruited someone – moving them from a come-and-see to a come-and-serve mindset – you’ll need to train them to serve in their newfound ministry role.
We all know that our volunteers are the lifeblood of our ministries because without them, our churches would be little more than brick-and-mortar.
In Chris Mavity’s ebook, ‘Your Volunteers: Recruit,’ we learned that to better enable, empower, and equip church leaders, we must enable, empower, and equip our greatest ministry asset – our people.
