Update: Mar 4, 2015, 11:05am (MST): The beta fix was successful and we have released that fix to stable. The stored giving feature has been restored and there should be no more issues with using saved giving information to submit a new gift.
Update: Mar 2, 2015, 11:20am (MST): Our engineers were able to identify the problem and have released a fix to our beta testers, which has restored their ability to use stored giving information. If this fix proves successful, we will be releasing it to stable soon. Thanks for your patience!
We recently discovered an issue that is affecting some individuals using online giving through BluePay. Churches using BluePay as their merchant provider may have experienced difficulties when attempting to make an online payment using previously saved card information. To prevent further issues, as of 1:45pm (MST) on Thursday, February 26, we have temporarily disabled the ability to create an online gift using saved account information. You will still be able to submit one-time and repeating online gifts, both using a credit/debit card or checking account information, by manually entering that account information. This issue has not affected data security and your financial account information remains secure.
We are actively working with BluePay to determine the cause of the problem so we can create a permanent fix. We will continue to post updates on this blog when a solution is in place and the saved account feature is restored.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.
Thanks for allowing us to serve you!
