Recent Updates

    • Feb 20 — We fixed an issue that was, on rare occassions, preventing someone with a valid Child Work Approved status from viewing children's profiles.
    • Feb 20 — You can once again successfully set your campus timezone to 'Buenos Aires' without receiving a 500 error.
    • Feb 20 — You can now successfully include words with apostrophes in the Customizable Fields labels and options. Before, those apostrophes were being stripped out.
    • Feb 07 — The Member Privileges report no longer shows a campus with the Manage Files permission. This was a relic from when that permission was campus-specific, but it is now a system-wide privilege.
    • Feb 07 — Custom reports with apostrophes in their names will continue to display the apostrophe correctly. Before, that symbol was being convereted to HTML when the report was edited.
    • Feb 07 — On the General Settings page, when choosing who can set the Child Work Approved date, we updated the language to more accurately say "Master Admins and Full Write Admins". Before, it said 'people admins', which was unclear.
    • Feb 07 — We updated the online_giving_insert_gift API error message to include Our Datetime Now, Computed Transaction Date, and Initially Received Transaction Date.
    • Feb 07 — The queue_list API service now correctly returns all queues in a given process. Before, it was only returning queues that had a queue manager assigned.
    • Feb 07 — We corrected the time stamp on transaction_date and merchant_process_date when they are submitted through the online_gift_insert_gift API endpoints and adjusted the the now( ) verification check to use Mountain Time, instead of your campus timezone.
    • Feb 07 — The groups API returns publicly listed groups if you make the request as an unauthenticated user, rather than giving you a 401 error. We updated the API documentation to reflect this behavior.
    • Feb 20 — We fixed a problem in Safari that was sometimes preventing you from sending an email to a person.
    • Feb 20 — The last few characters of your messages are no longer being lost. This was happening in fields that have a "characters left" counter. In those fields, paragraph breaks were being counted as more than one character behind the scenes, thus making it look like you had more characters left than you did. We fixed it so paragraph breaks are only being treated as one character, and the counter is now accurate.
    • Feb 07 — You can once again successfully send a mail merge on behalf of someone else using Safari.
    • Feb 07 — We've made some performance improvements to mail merges going to more than 2000 recipients. Before, mail merges with really large recipient lists were either timing out or sending the letter to people multiple times.
    • Feb 07 — We fixed a problem that was preventing group messages from being sent in Microsoft Edge.
    • Feb 20 — When you change the start time for an event occurrence, we are now appropriately also updating the start time of the attendance record, so attendance data is no longer being orphaned.
    • Feb 20 — Recording attendance from a logged out state once again works for all non-US churches.
    • Feb 20 — Unlisted people can no longer be set as an Event Organizer.
    • Feb 20 — You and your family members' serving assignments will now show up on your family calendar, even if there are no other events scheduled for that day. Before, those serving assignments were only appearing on the Family Calendar if there was also another event on that day.
    • Feb 20 — All Day events will now correctly show on the public calendar when that event falls on the first Sunday of the month (like, for example, Easter Sunday this year).
    • Feb 07 — In the Attendance Summary email, the link to the event will now take you to the correct event occurrence. Before, it was taking you to the nearest future event occurrence, which was a mistake. Our software can't predict the future... yet.
    • Feb 07 — If you are taking attendance for an event from a logged out state, and that group has over 100 people, we are now correctly telling you to log in to take attendance. Before, we were falsely showing you a list of only the first 100 people in the group, with no indication that it was an incomplete list.
    • Feb 07 — The last occurence of a repeating event will now appropriately show in your .ics feed in all circumstances. Before, that occurrence wasn't included if it was an all-day event and your campus timezone was east of GMT.
    • Feb 07 — When editing an event type so it is no longer "Rooms or Resources Required" (or vice versa), we are no longer incorrectly informing you that the event's Check-In tab will go away. The Check-In tab will stay visible regardless of the event type.
    • Feb 07 — Advanced searches now run more quickly when they include Event or Attendance criteria.
    • Feb 20 — When you subscribe to the Facilities Calendar .ics feed, we now correctly show the primary room as the event location. Before, we were sometimes showing the wrong room depending on what campus you were on.
    • Feb 07 — Approval Group leaders are no longer seeing the Attention Needed bell when there is nothing for them to approve.
    • Feb 07 — The actions arrow on a resource detail page was GIGANTIC. We shrunk it back down to normal size.
    • Feb 07 — We fixed a rare loophole that was allowing a room to be double booked when you edited the time of a single occurrence of a repeating event.
    • Feb 20 — Both the Primary Contact and Spouse's names will appear on giving statements, even when that family has been inactivated in the system.
    • Feb 20 — If you upload an invalid image for the Giving Statement Signature, we now run those giving statements without any image, rather than showing a 500 error and preventing giving statements from being run.
    • Feb 20 — The Merchant Transaction Detail report now correctly includes gifts from the first and last day of your selected date range. Before, it wasn't including some of those gifts, depending on your church's timezone.
    • Feb 20 — Apostrophes in the transaction memo line are now displaying correctly, rather than displaying as HTML code.
    • Feb 07 — When you give a gift to a Chart of Account category that has a comma in its name, we no longer incorrectly treat that gift like it was split. Grammarians rejoice!
    • Feb 07 — Check images from ProfitStars RDC no longer overlap other text on the page.
    • Feb 07 — When running giving statements, the return address will now correctly be the 'current campus address' when that option is selected. Before, we were using the address of the campus where the giver belongs.
    • Feb 07 — We fixed a rare bug when processing checks through ProfitStars that was resulting in too many splits.
    • Feb 07 — When you have multiple pages worth of online gift transactions, the correct page numbers are now displayed, allowing you to correctly navigate between pages.
    • Feb 07 — The Donor Analysis report now correctly displays and sums negative transactions.
    • Feb 07 — The Merchant Transaction Detail report will no longer include "free" items from forms. Before, if a form response included both free items and purchased items, both would show up on the Merchant Transaction Detail report.
    • Feb 07 — In some rare cases, transactions from PushPay were showing up in the Church Community Builder software with an extra zero. The donor was being charged the correct amount, it was simply being displayed incorrectly in the software, causing some reconcilliation confusion. We fixed this problem.
    • Feb 07 — The Merchant Transaction Detail report now respects your campus timezone when run for Month to Date.
    • Dec 21 — The online gift list now works correctly regardless of how it is being sorted.
    • Dec 15 — Transaction dates now show the correct day they were received, even when they come in late at night. Before, they were sometimes incorrectly being given the next day's date.
    • Dec 14 — Logged out giving once again works on phones using iOS 11.2
    • Feb 20 — Exporting Forms Responses with payment now correctly opens in excel, rather than producing a "content is unreadable" error.
    • Feb 20 — When Exporting Forms Responses, the Birthday field is now correctly formatted as a date rather than as plain text.
    • Feb 07 — We are no longer inserting extra spaces into your forms when you add lists and paragraph breaks.
    • Feb 07 — We are no longer letting logged out people fill out forms that require login. Because logic.
    • Feb 07 — When a form automates to an event, we fixed a bug that was removing a matched person from the event's guest list if you changed the billing contact match on the form. We fixed this so the originally-matched person remains on the event guest list.
    • Feb 07 — When you are filling out a form on behalf of someone else, we are now correctly populating the form with that person's birthday, rather than with your birthday. More birthday diversity in your church means more cake for you!
    • Feb 07 — We improved the speed of forms that have 20+ automations. Now your automations will feel more, well, automatic.
    • Feb 07 — You can now see the full form title and description when filling out a form on a mobile device. Before, some of this information was being cut off.
    • Feb 20 — We fixed a bug that, on rare occassions, was preventing basic users from being able to send group messages.
    • Feb 20 — When sending a group twext, the confirmation message now lists the correct number of text message recipients, and is only including group members. Before, that message was including people in a 'Requesting' or 'Invited' status for the group in the count of recipients, even though they weren't receiving the text message.
    • Feb 20 — On the Public Groups tool, you can once again successfully email the group leaders from an iPhone.
    • Feb 07 — If you set a group to show up in the Public Group search, it will now correctly show up there, even if the group is unlisted. Before, unlisted groups were not appearing on that page.
    • Feb 07 — If you are a group leader, you now only get one email when someone joins your group, instead of two. Getting new group members is exciting, but it's not "spam-you-with-multiple-emails" exciting.
    • Feb 07 — When you duplicate a need, the new duplicated need will now appropriately show up as "new".
    • Feb 07 — Need Coordinators are now correctly being informed when someone takes a need from the Serve page.
    • Feb 20 — Now, only the Master Administrator and people with the Full Read privilege can see a person's Membership Type in the Lead App. Membership Type is an admin field and should therefore only be seen by those people.
    • Feb 20 — Group leaders with no other privileges no longer have access to edit the profiles of other leaders in their group. This was accidentally allowed for groups where the 'Leaders Can Update Contact Details of Members' setting was on.
    • Feb 07 — The permissions in the Lead app for viewing and editing notes and editing profiles now match those permissions in the Browser software.
    • Jan 30 — We moved the group name so it's more visible. (version 4.2.0)
    • Jan 30 — We've added a Notes filter so you can narrow the list of notes you see. (version 4.2.0)
    • Jan 30 — We added the process name to the Mark as Done screen. (version 4.2.0)
    • Jan 30 — We made performance enhancements and resolved several issues that were causing the app to crash. (version 4.2.0)

    • Feb 20 — In the Mobile Preview, if someone has never logged in, in the footer on their profile we now display the text "Never logged in". Before, we were showing the confusing text "Invalid date".
    • Feb 20 — In the Mobile Preview, we've made it more clear when a profile is inactive, by surrounding the person's picture with a red outline showing the text (Inactive) in red anywhere the name is listed.
    • Feb 20 — In the Mobile Preview, we now show a confirmation message on the profile whenever a file has been added, edited, or deleted and whenever the family Check-In Message has been updated.
    • Feb 20 — We fixed a problem in the Mobile Preview that was covering part of a person's name when you were viewing their profile in the Quick Look.
    • Feb 20 — Now, only the Master Administrator and people with the Full Read privilege can see a person's Membership Type in the Mobile Preview. Membership Type is an admin field and should therefore only be seen by those people.
    • Feb 20 — When a person leaves a group, on their group history table on the profile, we are now only creating a row for when they stopped being a member. Before, we were incorrectly also creating a row that said they were no longer in a 'Requesting' status.
    • Feb 20 — We've made sure your profile pictures displays consistently across the entire software.
    • Feb 20 — In the Mobile Preview, only the MA and Full Write Admins will see the option to Add a Family Member to a family. This matches the permissions in the desktop version of the software.
    • Feb 20 — When you change a group member to become an Assistant Leader or Main Group Leader, we now correctly only show one 'Set As Leader' row on the group history table of their profile.
    • Feb 20 — When someone is added to a group through a Check-In station, on their profile's history tab and timeline, it now indicates they were set as a member by "System".
    • Feb 07 — We improved the quality of profile photos. Now your pearly whites will look pearly white.
    • Feb 07 — We now hide the camera icon on the profile and family photos in the Mobile Preview so they're no longer covering up your beautiful faces. If you need the icon to upload a new photo, it will appear upon hover on a computer or by tapping on the photo on a phone or tablet.
    • Feb 07 — When you upload a new profile picture using a mobile device in the Mobile Preview, we now automatically reload the page so you can see your newly uploaded photo.
    • Feb 07 — We sharpened up the text throughout the Mobile Preview to improve readability.
    • Feb 07 — When form automation adds a person to a position, we now correctly reflect that position history on a person's profile.
    • Feb 07 — In the Mobile Preview, date fields are now appropriately respecting campus locale.
    • Feb 07 — In the Mobile Preview, when you're on a profile, we've started you about halfway down the family photo so you can quickly get to a person's information without having to scroll too much. If you want to see the whole family photo, just scroll all the way up to the top of the page.
    • Feb 07 — In the Mobile Preview, when looking at the quick view of a profile, you can now access all three profile tabs (About, Involvement, and Notes) without having to scroll. You can now also easily find the Edit button to edit their profile.
    • Feb 07 — In the Mobile Preview, when a process note is visibile on a person's profile, we now include the name of the Process and Queue where the note was left.
    • Dec 21 — We restored family members' phone numbers to the Family tab in the Browser software.
    • Dec 15 — We fixed a problem in the mobile preview where the Edit Profile modal was broken if a custom field didn't contain any options.
    • Feb 20 — When you are on a Process Detail page and click to see a list of Unassigned people, you will no longer see people 'Marked as Done' in this list.
    • Feb 07 — Automating to a position from a Process Queue is once again working as expected.
    • Jan 10 — 'Merge fields' (like name, email address, etc.) are now correctly appearing in mail merges sent as a result of marking someone 'done' in a queue.
    • Jan 03 — Queue managers can now appropriately see notes about a person in their queue that were left about them from a different queue.
    • Feb 20 — On the Schedule Week list, hovering over the 'Needed' positions lable now correctly lists the positions that still need volunteers. Before, that hover was missing the position names.
    • Feb 20 — When adding people to a position from a schedule, when you check some people, then change your search to see a different filtered list of people, we are now continuing to keep that original list of people checked. Before, they were becoming unchecked as soon as they were no longer on screen.
    • Feb 20 — When a position is inactivated, it will no longer show up on a person's Serve page.
    • Feb 20 — If you are in a position and get notified that there are open positions for that role on a schedule, you will now be able to successfully see that open scheduling opportunity, even if you are not in a status somewhere else on that schedule. Before, you could only access the open positions on the schedule if you were also scheduled somewhere else on that schedule.
    • Feb 07 — The 'My Fit' page now loads faster, making it even easier to find position opportunities that match your gifts.
    • Feb 07 — When a position has been "Opened" on a schedule, the available serving opportunities are only shown once per service time, rather than incorrectly showing multiple times.
    • Feb 07 — We got rid of an errant ellipsis that was covering the checkboxes in the 'Possible Conflicts' modal on the scheduling grid.
