Volunteer Scheduling

Since CCB helps you identify the right people to serve, it only makes sense that we would also help you schedule them. We integrate Scheduling with the Positions and Groups tools to easily place and organize people to serve in your weekly services. You can create a variety of different schedules, linking positions with specific times and dates and sending automated reminders to your teams. Leaders can then easily communicate with their volunteer teams and see at a glance who is serving. To reduce confusion and burnout for the people serving in your church, volunteers have the ability to manage how often they would like to serve and indicate when they are available.

Family and Individual Profiles

CCB provides both Individual and Family Profile management. Every Individual has a unique profile that contains critical information about that person. Individual profiles can then be associated with a Family. In a church setting, it is helpful to know more than just contact information. Our Profiles allow you to store and track a variety of information, including hobbies, spiritual gifts, interests, spiritual maturity, availability, social media links and more. Best of all, your members can access and manage their own information, helping you keep your records current and relevant with maximum efficiency.

Custom Searches

Accessing and sharing information quickly and easily – that’s a critical and continuous need to better understanding the uniqueness and involvement of your people. CCB’s People Search feature allows you to create, filter and save dynamic database searches that identify those who meet criteria important to how you do church. You can use searches repeatedly, share them with others who need to see the results and migrate them into spreadsheets for more detailed analysis and manipulation.

Department & Group Management

Many churches utilize a tiered organizational structure that supports multiple departments and teams within those departments. CCB’s Departmental hierarchy is designed to support this approach and is built into all versions of our solution. This makes it easier than ever to organize and view groups of people by department. We also facilitate rapid communication and reporting within this structure.

Member Involvement

One of the most powerful features of the CCB solution is the ability to gain a real-time perspective on the involvement of any member of your congregation. The Involvement tab on an individual’s Profile allows you to quickly view all the various aspects of a person’s connectedness to groups, volunteer opportunities, attendance and more. Our Deluxe version allows you to also view a historical view of the Groups and volunteer positions someone has been a part of in the past.

Real Time Attendance Management

CCB allows you to easily track attendance for regularly scheduled and one-time events. Attendance can be tracked by individual, group, and department. You can also coordinate attendance tracking with your assimilation process to help people deepen their involvement and commitment. Knowing who isn’t involved can often be more important than knowing who is; CCB also helps you proactively find and follow up with those who stop attending for some reason.

Custom Reporting

A Church Management System isn’t very useful if you can’t easily obtain meaningful data from it. CCB offers a comprehensive library of standard reports. Better yet, we offer the ability to create and save Custom Reports, providing information that is uniquely valuable to you. These Reports can be shared with anyone on staff or in leadership positions, thus sharing the workload and empowering people with key information without the usual bottlenecks. You can also export the reports to a spreadsheet and manipulate the output as needed.

Director, Coach and Leader Structure

One of the powerful features of CCB is the Group Hierarchy, which supports multiple Departments as well as the Groups within those Departments. Our Deluxe version extends that capability further by offering a communication and management structure which contains Directors, Coaches and Leaders. This relationship hierarchy is all about leadership facilitation. It’s designed to enable church leadership to communicate with their teams while providing accountability and support.

Unlimited Use Check-In

Whether it is checking children into their small groups or volunteers into their respective areas of responsibility, CCB Check-in allows you to track real-time attendance for any event or class. It promotes security for your children through the use of manual or dynamic Security Codes. CCB's Check-In allows you to retrieve family records in three different ways, then quickly check them in and print out name badges and retrieval tags. Deluxe Check-In adds self check-in capabilities. It also allows a family to check in for multiple services at one time, suggests classes based on age, and manages the ratio of students to teachers! Finally, CCB allows you to maximize the benefit of check-in by not restricting the number of stations that you can enable or ministries that can utilize it.

Event Management

Meetings, parties, concerts, classes and fundraisers are an integral part of church life. Managing and communicating these events efficiently can be a real challenge. CCB makes it easy for your church to announce "what's happening" and get people involved. They can be informed about event details and respond right from their personal computer or web-enabled handheld device. Event coordinators can request facilities and/or equipment, invite people via email and track RSVPs in real-time! Your administrative staff can then access church-wide reports on all events going on within a specific timeframe, making it much easier to stay on top of all the activity both on and off-campus.

Volunteer Management / Matching

One of the most critical facets of life transformation is getting people connected to service opportunities where they can experience the fulfillment of helping others. The challenge is to organize, communicate and fill the opportunities in a manner that aligns with people’s unique gifts and abilities. With CCB’s Positions feature, you can easily match service opportunities with the individuals best suited to fill them. We actually help you identify and inform the right people based on their gifts, passions, skills and leadership style. Coming from the opposite perspective, your people can search and apply for service opportunities that fit them well, allowing them to serve in a way that brings great personal fulfillment.

Resource Management

Who knows if the Women’s Ministry can use the Fellowship Hall for a covered dish? How do you manage the variety of requests to use your available facilities and equipment? Is that information easily shared or sitting in yet another database that is disconnected from your church management solution? CCB allows staff and Group Leaders to request any available resource when adding an Event to the Calendar. If a resource is already committed, it will not be available for other events at that date and time. That allows those who are planning events to quickly and efficiently make timing decisions without having to call the church office. Now you can eliminate those embarrassing double bookings.

Pledge Management

It’s well known that when people can easily track what they pledged versus what they actually give to a cause, the percentage of actual giving versus what’s pledged increases significantly. We make it really easy to create, track and manage financial commitments.

iPhone / Mobile Access

In a world where mobile computing is used as much or more than personal computers, it is important your church database be securely accessible from a variety of mobile devices. CCB provides unique interfaces for PDAs, web-enabled cell phones and the iPhone. Church staff and members with the appropriate security privileges can quickly find phone numbers, email addresses and physical locations of individuals in your database. They can instantly initiate a call or send an email. They can even access a map and, with some devices, obtain driving directions. With the correct privileges, Pastors and staff can actually edit a member's profile, allowing them to quickly correct critical information on the fly.

Roles-Based Administration

CCB believes church management is most effective when everyone can participate. So, we do not limit user access to just those in the church office. We understand, however, you must tailor permissions and functionality to be appropriate for the specific user. Thus, we offer simple but powerful roles-based access that allows you to customize permissions and responsibilities as necessary. This means that access to CCB can be shared with any number of people in the church. Contribution & Donor Management

Giving is an important indicator of church health and engagement. CCB empowers you to manage contributions and analyze giving in a variety of ways. Contributions can be entered old school or utilizing check scanners. We even support the extremely efficient Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) process. Congregants can log in and view their own personal giving, pledge and transaction history without calling the church office. They can even print their own annual giving statements for tax purposes. For church leadership, we provide a comprehensive and growing list of financial reports that help you analyze donor trends and statistics. Most importantly, we can help you surface lapses in giving that often indicate a crisis or a family slipping through the cracks.

Room Capacities

With the Deluxe version of CCB, you have the ability to set attendance limits on events to prevent more children being checked in than the capacity of the room allows. This also works well for conferences and events with limited seating.

Multi-Site

Multi-site ministries require unique systems, processes and technology to be effective. Church leaders need to manage and measure ministry strategy at a campus and ministry-wide level. Private Online Groups

CCB believes that leadership-driven community is key to church health and life change. This happens when leaders can help people connect while sustaining activity and communication. CCB’s socially-driven approach to church management is not an attempt to replace Facebook. However, it does provide a “safe place” to drive activity and conversation which is more personal and intimate. Our Group Management tools allow you to create private online communities for every imaginable way that people organize into groups within your church. These groups then enjoy their own Calendar, Discussion Board, Volunteer Opportunities and File Sharing. Group participants can even minister to their group or your community with simple Needs Management tools. Group Leaders can quickly communicate with their Participants, and Group Participants can easily interact with one another. All of this comes in an elegant, tightly integrated package, as opposed to an add-on or modular approach.

Group Calendars

Meetings, parties, concerts, classes and fundraisers are an integral part of how ministries and small groups operate. With CCB, each Group in your church has its own unique Calendar where events may be created, managed and accessed by everyone. Any event within the Group will then be displayed on the Group Calendar. Group leaders can easily create and manage events, invitations, RSVPs and registrations. Group Participants can subscribe to a public calendar feed for the Groups they are a part of. This feed will allow members to integrate those events on another calendar application used outside of CCB.

Personal Calendar

Ministries, small groups and members journey together and stay connected through various activities happening within your church. With CCB, every member of your organization can easily view their own Personal Calendar. This Calendar provides a consolidated view of all the events that matter most to an individual in the church community, whether they be group-related events, church-wide events or action items associated with Needs they have signed up for. This gives each individual a personalized one-stop-shop where they can easily view their upcoming activities.

Needs Management

A key element of any church is offering people opportunities to serve others in the community as day-to-day needs arise. This could be providing meals for a family with a newborn, repairing vehicles or volunteering as a greeter for the weekend services. With CCB's Needs Management, you can create a Need and then add items or tasks within that Need. You can then quickly inform a group of people or the entire congregation about the Need. As people respond and commit to take responsibility for one or more items, those who manage that Need are automatically notified. Alternatively, Needs may be assigned to specific people in the church, which then notifies them about the item and the date for which they are responsible. Either way, CCB provides a simple yet powerful way for people to serve others in an organized and informed fashion.

Private Discussion Forums

Where can people in your church go to have private online discussions, share prayer needs and simply connect with others in a safe manner? CCB facilitates this critical need while maintaining seamless integration with your core church management needs as well. Every Group within CCB has its own private Discussion Forum. More comprehensive than chat sessions or email, Discussion Forums keep a permanent history of the conversations within your community. That history can be available to all or restricted only to those in the Group where the conversation happens. Group Leaders become moderators who can observe and guide the conversation.

Custom Forms and Surveys

Without logging in, church visitors and members alike can easily register for upcoming events. CCB’s Custom Forms allow people to provide the appropriate information, indicate how many tickets they wish to purchase, process the transaction and print out a confirmation. The confirmation can then be used as the ticket to the event. CCB’s Form Matching allows you to associate the registration with the appropriate person in the database without creating duplicates and, if necessary, quickly create a new record. CCB forms even include a variety of automation options - just another example of the benefits that you get from a fully integrated solution.

Event Summaries

One of the unique features of CCB Deluxe is Event Summaries. This allows small group leaders, Sunday School teachers and anyone else who records attendance for an event to attach important supplemental information to that event. You can add a topic for the event, general notes about what transpired, praises and prayer requests, as well as information about new people who may have attended. Once attendance is recorded and event summaries completed, you can then quickly notify all the appropriate people via email. This greatly enhances leader-to-leader communication and helps you be proactive when people need assistance or prayer.

Photo Directories

No matter the size of your church, it is often difficult to "put a face with a name" when looking at individuals in the church database. CCB allows a picture to be uploaded to both an individual profile and a family profile. Those pictures can then be viewed online in the profile itself, or compiled into a directory of individuals or families. Anyone with a login can easily upload a picture of themselves and their family into their profile, helping you ensure that the photos are up-to-date and accurate. Administrators also have this privilege. Online picture directories are available for the entire church as well as every Group in CCB.

File Sharing

Sharing documentation, photos and other media with people in the church can be quite time consuming and inefficient. CCB’s File Sharing benefits allow Group Leaders and Administrators to quickly upload and store files in their CCB Group for easy access by members. Whether you need to share worship music, minutes from the Elder meetings, sermon files or other resources, CCB’s file sharing makes the process seamless and incredibly easy.

Personal Communication Settings

How frustrating is it when you can’t get critical information in the hands of your church members because they have opted out of all church communications? That is what happens when people cannot tailor communications to suit their unique desires. CCB fixes this problem by giving individuals the flexibility to set their own Personal Communication Preferences. Each member has a ‘Personal Settings’ section that enables them to select what updates and information matters most. We understand that every person has different needs and preferences. Empowering your members to control the nature and the volume of information they receive is important to the overall success of your church communication strategy.

Twexting

There are times when instant communication is absolutely necessary. What better way to make this happen than through CCB’s Twext™ feature? Every Group in CCB has the capability to send a text message to every participant who has opted in for this form of communication. Furthermore, you can create a Twitter account for your Group and simultaneously post a Tweet along with the text message. Twitter + Text Messaging = Twext™.

Private Notes

There are three locations within the application to create / view notes: Process Queues, People Profiles and Group Hierarchy. Each location will contain appropriate leaders for that area. Leaders are able to share notes within their locations as well as share notes across these location boundaries. With private notes, you are able to define the sharing level you want for the notes that are left.

The ability to give and make payments online is a basic yet effective way to drive traffic to your church website. CCB includes a comprehensive contribution and payment system that easily integrates with your website and offers a simple, easy way for people to support your ministry. Individuals can give on a one-time basis or establish recurring gifts. This enhances convenience for them and makes your church income more stable and predictable. CCB also supports online payments for event registrations and other purchases. Using customizable CCB Forms, you can accept payments for a variety of scenarios and, again, easily match the payment with the appropriate record in the database. *U.S. only. Additional fees apply.

Group & Ministry Finder

Identifying and locating small groups, ministries and other community opportunities can be very intimidating to those who may just be “kicking the tires” or looking to deepen their involvement in your church. Furthermore, some people want to be able to do this privately and personally from the comfort of home rather than at the “welcome station." CCB allows all designated Groups within the database to be placed in the Group and Ministry Finder. This interactive tool not only integrates with your church website, it also allows people to search for connection opportunities based on a variety of criteria that are most relevant to them. Better yet, if they find something that interests them and want to learn more, they can quickly contact the ministry or group leader right from the Finder. As always, CCB protects the personal information of the leader while still facilitating community and communication!

Event Registration, Forms & Surveys

Accurate and current information is vital to those responsible for serving, caring for and communicating with the congregation. CCB’s customized Forms feature can support all your data-gathering needs in an interactive and easy fashion. You can use Forms in any number of ways; from surveys to resource requests, volunteer applications, prayer needs, event registrations and any other application you can dream of! You can email forms, post them on your website and share them on Facebook and Twitter. Form managers can easily assess individual and group responses and make ministry decisions based on real intelligence and knowledge about the status, opinions and involvement of the congregation. Most importantly, because CCB Forms do not require a login to complete, you can use them to facilitate outreach in an effective and friendly manner.

Public Church-wide Calendar

Another simple but powerful way to drive traffic to the church website is to provide a current and comprehensive calendar of events. Few things are more frustrating to your church community when they cannot easily determine what activities are available that can help them connect. Few things can be more frustrating than trying to efficiently keep up with all the events happening in the church and within various related ministries. Luckily, CCB truly simplifies the ability to communicate "what's happening" and help get people involved. As Group Leaders create their own unique events, they may request that these events are placed on the Public Church-Wide Calendar. If those requests are approved, the appropriate events dynamically display on this Calendar which seamlessly integrates with your church website. Those who visit the website can now see what’s going on in “real-time” and can even scan details about an event an export the events to their personal calendar.

Community Login

Because of CCB’s socially focused approach, we actually provide the basis for your church’s private online community. This drives traffic to your site by making it the portal to inside information about church life. The transition from your website to your private online community is seamless for the end user. We even allow you to customize the look and feel of the online community once people are logged in so they still feel like they are interacting with your ministry, not ours.

API Integration

CCB’s goal is to provide a powerful hub for community, communication and connectedness. Our Application Programming Interface (API) allows you to determine how people will ultimately interact with that hub. Do you have other software which needs to exchange data with CCB? Do you want your website to be where people execute “calls to action” without having to link off to another site? CCB can make this happen in a wide variety of ways with our API services.
